The Sir Joseph Banks Hotel is a favourite local for Botany residents, a great pub with a wide variety of facilities including an established bistro, bottle shop, recently renovated boutique accommodation, beer garden, VIP lounge and smokers courtyard.
The Sir Joseph Banks Hotel licence was transferred in 1920, to its current site. The original Sir Joseph Banks Hotel, situated on the corner of Anniversary St and Waratah St is heritage listed, and has recently been restored as private apartments.
